If you want to link your FamilySearch account with your church account, you'll need your membership ID. You can find this on the Church Tools app, your temple recommend, or by asking a member of your bishopric.

Learn how to gather information about your ancestors from records like birth and death certificates, etc.
Indexing is the process of typing information from records into a database so it is searchable online.
FamilySearch helps identify indexed records that might belong to people on your family tree. As you "Match" these records to your relatives, you may find additional information that you can add to your tree to make it more complete.
